As summer winds down, some of the momentum we saw earlier in the season has cooled, but homes are still being bought and sold. Affordability remains a very real concern, and recent consumer confidence surveys reflect some of the uncertainty many people are feeling about the economy and their finances.
What we’re seeing closer to home can vary quite a bit depending on the neighborhood and price point. Some buyers have more choices and a little more breathing room to weigh their options, while other parts of the market remain competitive. And through it all, sellers are still finding success when it’s time to sell.
But housing decisions have never been about market conditions alone. For homeowners, this may be a good time to look beyond the headlines and think about something more personal.
THE HOME THAT ONCE FIT PERFECTLY
When you bought your home, chances are you chose it because it fit the life you were living at the time.
